Like it was none of my business. I'd hope I'd wish them well and that they'd find contentment. Perhaps he didn't think the sex with you was great enough and wanted to explore his gay side. As a straight man, I can only speculate, but I doubt very much if nybody wakes up one day and decides that henceforth they will be bisexual or renounce their heterosexual urges.

Right? Why would you have any feelings about it. Its not like people are gay because of a bad sexual experience. It would have nothing to do with their exes.

I would be a bit puzzled, because sexual orientation doesn't show up overnight, so then I would think they were not truthful while we were together. I
I would get medically tested.
Beyond that , I would wish them well and hope that being their authentic self makes them at peace and happy~~

Errr - not really getting the point of bi there bud, unless you mean the or to be two kinds of examples.

No bi person is renouncing hetero, that is a gay only thing. Still I know plenty of gay dude who spent years like 20-30+ mostly or exclusively hetero in orientation. It happens all the time ... but what rarely happens is going from gay or exclusively homo to hetero only, but I'm sure there is an example. Mostly though, and especially with guys, it is about expanding opportunities not just changing horses in midstream. Whether that be situational like during incarcerations or full on lifestyle changes like fagging the fuck out. So nothing is all at once ... it is a spectrum and probably there were several steps you, or whomever, just didn't see --for various reasons such as cultural shaming or cognitive blindspots.

Next .. I think also it is a bit errant to personalize it so much ...it is possible for a man to be fully in love with a woman and have other urges, desires, longings ... even schemes concerning another gender. Research is in ... women cheat as much as men ... same deal, but less options. There are all kind of gay cliques, but also trans and queer worlds for men to fall into and out of ... not as many with women - that I've seen.

Every bi person is expanding hetero. And my take is bi is probably the most frustrating of all the sexual preferences ... because they can defy and often outperform most other orientations and polarity frames. Of course I'm talking full bi here ... not closet cases. I've been straight up about my history with every serious relationship I've been in and even so for women especially ... it is like they later go ..."huh, when did that happen?" or are loath to admit they understood. They always strike me as the sort to then be 'shocked and quick to point out ... he was so and so and such and such all along' as if that relieves them of the stress or ... whatever of it not being partially on them why things didn't work out.

It is like a car accident, or any emergency, or something that requires instant reactions:
looking at it now is one thing, thinking about our answer and how we'd feel.
Doing/dealing with it at the moment is an entirely different thing.
No one can positively say that they will feel/do/be a certain way, when they have never been tested (for lack of a better word).
